Hageman-Rhodes
The marriage of Miss Miriam Emily Hageman, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. S. S. Hageman, of Chiles, to Lester B. Rhodes, of Hope, was solemnized Saturday, May 28, 1932 at 8 p.m. in the Baptist church at Chiles. The service was read by the bride's father, Rev. S. S. Hageman, the impressive double ring ceremony being used. AFter the ceremony a reception was held in the church parlor where wedding cake and punch were served. -- From the Paola Republican.
