Hi Kelly
It's Linda,I only have pictures of my immediate Mackes family. I live in Allentown,but will soon be moving to Carbon Co.,near Beltzville Lake About three miles north of it.
I found my information, it's called Meckes/Mackes Genealogy by Dale E. Berger, He is a genealogist, from what I've heard, does a lot of research. 1.I went to yahoo and Put in Meckes/ Mackes Genealogy and clicked on search. 2. RootsWeb's World Connect will come up, click on it. 3. go to index and put in Conrad Meckes. Then you can follow the family through the generations. It has up to your great-grandmother Eater Buskirk. He has me as Living Mackes married to Living Bartos. I've been divorced since 1973. This is free genealogy but if you put RootsWeb.com you can't get in. I had it stored in my favorites,and tried so I could tell you how to find it.
No I don't know anyone researching this family. I try to search all over and any place. I put Meckes/Mackes names in search, just to see what will come up.
I remember the Muschlitz name from when I was a kid. Is this your maided name or married name?
I have he computer progran Family Tree Maker. It didn't have much on the Mackes/Meckes I'll look up Muschlitz and see if I can find anything.
My mother grew up in Northampton. I have a daughter living in East Allen Twp., Northampton.
Since we are distant cousins maybe we could get together and talk about family and what we have.
