Research Needed -Mary Hagans - Brush Valley PA

I am looking for information on my grandmother's (Bertha Stephens Corob)parents - John stephens and Mary Hagans. Especially Mary Hagans (Stephens). They lived in Brush Valley in Indiana, PA. Mary Hagans' mother was full blooded American Indian and lived on a reservation in PA. Mary Hagans Stephens father was a full blooded Spaniard and was murdered in his shed. His head was split open with an axe right. My cousin once saw a picture of him, and he had a long white beard down to his stomach. Mary Hagans Stephens was born in October of 1880. Can anyone help with a census report or something? thanks/Larry - lcauthor@hotmail.com
