I'm looking for information on my GGG Grandparents. There names are as follows:
Franklin J. Hagans/Hagens, b: 24 Apr 1828 in Kentucky; d: 09 Feb 1903 in Boone Co., Missouri. He married Mary E. Bennett, bef. 1861 in unknown. She was b: 18 Jan 1842 in Tennessee; d: 12 Jul 1879 in Boone Co., Missouri.
I have located them in the 1870 & 1880 US Census for Missouri-Boone County under the spelling of Hagan & Hagans.
I have searched the census of 1860 & only come up with one Frank Hagan in Kentucky-Warren-District 1, (living by himself, 33, m, wagon maker, 200, KY (birth state). He is living next to Jesse Hagan (65, m, farmer, 4800/1030, KY)& wife Mary (50, f, TN) on one side & Martin S. Hagan (24, m, farmer, 175, KY) on the other side alone. Then there is a Dudley Hagans (36, m, farmer, 500, KY) with his family living next to Martin S. Hagan. And next to Dudley is a Sam'l Bennet, his wife & family listing Mary, 19, f, domestic, TN with sibling recorded after her (she appears to be the oldest child). I guess what I am asking is if any of this sounds familiar.?.?. It's almost to much of a coinsidence to have a Frank Hagan & Mary Bennet practically living next door to each other with the right age & birth places. I only hope this is them. If anyone can help, please respond to email@example.com. Will be glad to hear from anyone with Hagan/Hagans/Hagen/Hagens connections in KY>MO areas.
Look forward to hearing from anyone.
