Dear Franklin, Here is a will fragment for Frances Hagaman Sr., Knowlton NJ: "The Will of Francis Hagerman SR (is spelled Hagaman on the record) is in your Warren Co. Will Divisions; Division Book I page 31 "Estate Of Francis Hagaman SR. Hagaman had died in the interval between death of his father Francis, Sr., leaving minor children (under 21) Benjamin Force, son of Susan and John, is a minor (under 21) Susan Force is called Elizabeth later in the document." There is a map page: It says under the Map, "Frances Hagaman Knowlton Twp. Sur. B1 I:31 Map: 35 April 17, 1826" From this we can conclude that the documents is a Surrogate Court record. Mentioned at the beginning is Orphans Court February term, 1826 (as we know from above that the petitioners are Francis Hagaman and Anna Hagaman wife of our James Brugler; then I imagine our Frank Brugler was probably named Francis after his maternal Grandfather). This is my line above; hope it helps some people. I know their son William went to Michigan. Shirl Hering Notify Administrator about this message?
