Hi,

I am sorry to tell you that Adriaen Hegeman and his wife were buried in the cemetary which was disinterred to make way for the Brooklyn Bridge. I don't know where those bones were placed, but Walt Whitman's New York,Ed.,H.M.CHRISTIAN, McMillan & Co., 1963, p.81:"Tells of old families. States that Hegemans were buried in the old Fulton St. Cemetary near Smith St. from which he writes,"The remains were then being removed to make way for a row of stores." p.141 "Also lists an Adrian Hegeman among the old standbys of the 40s."

Hope this answers your question. Fran M.
