Hi Barbara,
I had not heard of Lorna Doone Hafner, so when I got your message I looked in the 1900 cesus for Mooreton, and found that she was Adolph's wife - your great grandmother!
She was born in Germany in November, 1862, was 38 years old, had been married 17 years, and had eight children. There were no entries in the columns about immigration date, years in the US, or whether she was naturalized.
There is a picture of John and Elizabeth Hafener on page the "History of Mooreton" which I have scanned and would be happy to send you a copy if you would like one. There is also a picture of Adolph Hafener's home with a bunch of people standing on and by the front porch.
