My Great Great Grandfather's name was William Washington Hafley. His wife's name was Amelia Ann Brown. They had several children Ollie, William[Little Bill], John Burgess Hafley { My Great Grandfather} and other's in which I'm not sure of their names. My great Great Great Grandparents were very close to the Davis's. My mother has a document Of Mr. Davis's acoount of my Great Grandfather's birth at home. When I was younger we took a trip to Tennessee and stayed in a cabin which has been in the family for years. My mother was telling me that,my great grandfather took her to a cemetary that had been covered over with water. And that is where my great great grandparents were put to rest. My g- grandfather told my mother that his mother,{Amelia Ann Brown} was buried on top of her husband and that their was no grave marker for her. Ollie one of his sister's married a Connor, Ollie Connor. One of the relatives told Mom that our name was once pronounced Haffley, or Heffley. All of my relatives are gone and have no info except what my mother can recall and the death records of the few family member's I have told you of in this letter. This family is also tied to the Guthrie's or Guthrey's in Tenn.I will continue to search. I am very intrested about my family and would like everyone to know more so to pass on to our children and so on. Thank you for any info you may have. It is a blessing to find some one with intrest in family. Brenda Garvin Thompson
