My GG Grandfather Edward was a contemporary of your Cornelius. Edward was born in Teelin, County Donegal in about 1823. Came over in late 1840s, lived in Schuylkill and Columbia Counties (perhaps other). Married Sarah Byrne (sp) around 1848 and proceeded to have 9 or 10 children. They had a number of their children in Centralia, where Edward was a coal miner and died in a coal mining accident in 1874.

I came across your line while doing research on mine, I believe while in the Mt. Carmel Church. I also have come across your impressive website.

I have alot of info on the Haffeys in the area although I do not think I have any more than you do, but would be more than happy to share.
