Write to the public library archives / geneology of towns lived , born in, died in.
Ask for all info they have. For a small fee you get alot.
The more info they have the faster they can find info about the family..
Census, land records, wills, marriages, obits, cemeteries.
They are on line for research of each state and county also.
Death certificates show parents, where born, where died, and where buried.
