Gregg, I didn't notice the following note on Sam'l (b 1746) when we corresponded before. "Wells' history of Newbury, VT. says that just before the Revolution, Samuel
Hadley and Samuel Eaton settled on a farm formerly owned by John Smith. He
is listed in the First Company in Newbury in 1774-5. He may have had four
children, but only two names are mentioned: Jonathan and Joshua."I believe the last sentence is a quote from the Alice M. Hadley manuscript.I don't think there was anything else on the subject in the manuscript.
