Searching for Joseph Hadfield, bc1790, appears in 1841 census Heaton Norris,
Stockport as Wheelwright aged 50, with Mary 50, Robert Wheelwright, aged 30,
Ann 13 Cotton Weaver, Sarah 15 Cotton Weaver. Def know Ann to be Ann Elizabeth bapt St Mary's Stockport 7 dec 1823 and deft. Robert bapt do 6 July 1817.Possibly other children: Mary Ann bapt Wesleyan chapel, Bullock Smithy,18 Sept 1816; and Levi bapt St. Mary's Stockport 30 June 1822.
Joseph 1841 says not born in county (but Lancs or Ches?) Mary was. Ref 1861 to a single Joseph Hadfield, Heaton Norris, born Offerton. Cannot find Joseph's marriage and can only spec re his definite place/date of birth. My link is through Ann Elizabeth. Possible Mormon interest. Any ideas. Best wishes to you all.
