John Hadfield 1791?and Ellen Rangley 1813 Glossop

I an a descedant of the above via Abner Rangley Hadfield and Sarah Kershaw.

however my own investigations lead me to believe that John was in fact married three times, his third wife was Alice Morris with whom he had three children James Daniel and Isaac. On his marriage certificate in 1851 he stated his father as Joseph Hadfield and his trade as that of shoemaker. But he stated is age as 55 giving him a date of birth in 1856 and not 1851. Does anyone have any further information on this point.
