Nyla,
great to have you on this forum.
Grahame now has email, and I owe him a message.
He rang me two week ago, but I was away. I am going to email him tonight.
Yes, Ray and Myrtle were well-known to me. Ray was my mother's father's brother. I have lots of photos of them.I am in very irregular contact with their daughters Audrey, Beryl and Joy (two in Australia and one in Tauranga, New Zealand).
So far we have not been able to connect Cliff, and our other big problem is connecting the descendants of Jon Haddy of Tideford, Cornwall (St Germans parish, who was born in Stoke Damerel, Devon (at least, that is what we think), with the large Haddy family tree of Elisabeth Edmondson, which is called "The Haddys of the South Hams".
My great grandfather, John Haddy, was born in Shortacross (Morval Parish), Cornwall, son of Thomas Haddy, blacksmith, and his wife Jane Wadge. One their other sons, Thomas Wadge Haddy is your great grandfather. My great grandfather died in NZ in 1943.
regards,
Nick Perrin
