Hello Dallas - After the deaths of William and Martha Peers-Sarah-Mary-Alice were of course were parentless- all three girls were 'taken in' by Peter and Elizabeth Carter- 1851 census- Mary passed away in 1856 - In 1861 Alice Peers was a 'servant' to a John Billington- in Cuddington Cheshire - Sarah Peers was a 'servant' to John and Elizabeth Spruce whom I think was possibly her uncle - meanwhile Caleb was in 1851 and 1861 'lodged' with David Spruce- as a 'servant boy' David Spruce was a stonemason as was Robert and William Peers-
Caleb was first married to Ann Emma Lloyd a farmers daughter from Norley Cheshire in 1869- in 1871 he was a stonemason and general dealer in Salford Manchester - Emma died late 1873 her death is recorded in Runcorn- Caleb moved to Ashton upon Mersey Cheshire early in 1874 and there married Mary Robinson on 16 April 1874(not a time waster then) Your information regarding Alice is correct - Regards Pete
