UPDATE

For anyone interested, both men were found.

William was illegitimate and was born William FINDLAY not Hadden. He was reared with his mother and the Hadden family. As luck will have it the informant for his death was none other than his half brother Alexander Hadden. Both were living at St. Nicholas, Aberdeen.

In finding this information I also found their mother's monument.
