This is Jimmy Hadden. (My full name is James Arthur Hadden III.) I have just been informed that my father has died at 5:30 a.m. on 2/22/09 at the age of 73. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on Sept 15, 1935. HIS Father was Wilbert Theodore Hadden of same Location. My father and his father moved to Miami, Fla. James Hadden dropped out of high school and joined the Air Force. He studied Electronics and became an Electrical Engineer. He worked at Local Union 349 in Miami at Turkey Point in the 70's. Later moved to Las Vegas, in 1979.Worked at the Nevada Test Site under a Goverment Class III security clearance. Moved backed to South Fla. in 1981. Fathered Michele Hadden (born in same year)Moved to Maryland in 1986 to work for Gus K.Newberg.Worked in Wisconsin for a while then in Virginia. Divorced my Mother in @1994. Moved back to Wisconsin and worked till retirement age.Then finally moved back to South Florida and stayed with Cliff and Carmen Hadden, Parents of Keith Hadden, a fireman. He had a stroke in @ 1995 or 1996. Was paralized on his left side.Moved back in with my Mom @ same year in her trailer in Miramar.Tensions developed guns were involved.Dad was arrested and sent to a nursing home.He would then have fondeled several nurses, and this caused him to be kicked out of several homes.He would be transfered to @ 6 homes untill his last in Lighthouse Point, On Sample road, east of I-95.( I have the actual name and address stored in my GPS unit) I was told he died there this morning. He apparently had a heart attack.
If anyone knows about my father and I, we never really had a good bond. He more or less abandoned me as a child, from what my mother has told me. I really missed not spending good quality time, as a boy, with him. I never realy got to go fishing with him and his buddies. He always left me behind on the pier.I held a long and angry grudge against him especially after he left my mother and never gave her any $ to raise my sister michele. He still (owed) over 85K in back child support. I have since come to terms with him and forgiven him. I was able to see him on Fathers Day of 2008. He was very grey and had gotten chubby in the face.He was in a different world, sort of like a child.It was hard to see him act this way. I do not know if he actually accepted Christ, as he said he did, as his saviour. I am at peace now.
