Jennifer,

Our Haddens came into Northern Ireland from Scotland during the Plantation of Ulster, so they've been in Ireland since the early 1600s. I haven't researched any of the English HADDEN families in Hertfordshire (like that of Royal Marine John HADDEN) and they could be totally unrelated to our Ulster lines, but we can't let any possibilities go unexplored. Do write me personally and let's compare notes further.
