I would also like to know what proof there is that Aaron Hackney and Lydia Reese are the parents of John Hackney that married Jane Vail as that is my family line through:

Thomas Hackney b. 1796 and Priscille "Siller" Drake
Charles Hackney b. 1824 and Morning Stilton
William Thomas Hackney b. 1852 and Delillah Moore
John Morton Hackney b. 1889 and Ollie Nora Ramey
Rufus Franklin Hackney b. 1914 and Erma Jean Johnson.
