This might be a loooong shot, but I have Robert Jackson Hackley, Jr. (b. 1840, Tallahassee, Florida) who was:

s/o Robert Jackson Hackley m. Mary A. Strachan
g-s/o Richard Shippey Hackley m. Ann Battaile Jackson
gg-s/o James Hackley m. Ann Stubblefield
ggg-s/o Joseph Hackley m. Mary Duncan

Robert Jackson Hackley, Jr. shows up in the 1850 census for Brunswick county, Virginia living in the household of Dr. Edwin Armistead Morrison. He was the brother of Dr. Morrison's wife, Lucia Beverley Hackley. This is all I have, but if you have his marriage and possible children, then some of the names might match up.
