Clark Letter--1858 Bexar County, Texas
http://ftp.rootsweb.ancestry.com/pub/usgenweb/tx/bexar/history/letters/clark.txt

To: Miss Elizabeth Clark,
North Wheeling/ Wheeling Island
From:
WA Clark
Bexar County
Canantonio Texas Mar 14 1858

The letter mentions the stabbing death of another [soldier?]. A Mr. Hacket was stabbed by a Mr. Wilcox, and that Mr. Hacket was buried "...with all the honners of the Odd Fellows..."

It doesn't appear that the author, W. A. Clark is well acquainted with either men.
