John and John, 1700s, New Garden, Chester County, PA

I am seeking contact with any researchers interested in John Hackett of New Garden Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania in the 18th century.

A John Hackett was a witness, on December 2, 1747 (or 1748) to the will of one Samuel Beverly of East Marlborough Township, Chester County. East Marlborough borders New Garden Township on the North.

A John Hacket was on the 1753 Tax List for New Garden.

A John Hacket died intestate in New Garden in 1755.

A John Hacket was on the 1774 Tax List for New Garden (and is obviously not the same John as the earlier John, but could possibly be his son).

A John Hacket owned land in New Garden ca. 1777, bordering land of Joshua Procter (and Procter's land was forfeited and being re-sold). Other neighbors were the Hurfords or Hulfords (depending on whose transcription of the old handwritten text you believe).

My THEORY is that the first John was at least 21 at the time of witnessing a will in 1747, and so was born before 1726. He may have been born substantially before that. If he was at least 45 when he died in 1755, then he was born in or before 1710. One researcher believes he may have been born as early as 1685.

Does anyone know the names of wife and/or children of this John??? Does anyone know if he was indeed the father of the later John Hacket who was in New Garden at the time of the Revolution?? Does anyone know the names of wife and/or children of this later John?
