Sarah Hacker, Jamestown, Va. 1610 to 1613
Looking for the roots of the earliest Hacker to come to America. The earliest one that I know of for sure, was a Sarah Hacker who came into Virginia in 1610.Her approxmate date of birth would have been 1585 and she died circa 1613.I know her children were named John and Barbara.Barabra probably married the son of Captain Nathanial Butler.John would have been wounded in the British Civil War in 1649 and fled to France where he died.A descendant came to America with General Lafeyette and afterwards settled in Maine. This man was named Benjamine Rolfe.Current family would still reside inPortland, Maine.
I also would like to know the name of Sarah Hackers parents and othe r roots.Wilma Phelan, 178 Cabbel Drive, Manassas, [email protected]
The other early immigrant that I found, was a Store keeper who was in Jamestown in 1624.Could he have a connection to Sarah Hacker?
