I am responding to this query long after the original was posted for informational purposes.Julius and Martha (Beeler) Hacker had a daughter named Catherine born about 1782-83 in Tennessee--an area that became Sullivan County. Some people have the wrong birth year for their son Joseph. He was actually born 1775, proven by his listing in the 1850 US Census for Roane Co., Tennessee. He was listed as being 75 years old in 1850, making his birth year 1775.That is only 8 years before Catherine's birth.
The biograph of W. R. Hacker published in Jasper Co., MO about 1900 says that Jacob and Catherine Hacker Peters married and settled down in Greene Co, MO.Either there are two Catherines and two Jacobs, or this one couple later moved to Virginia to live out their lives.Four children listed in the biograph have the same names as four of the many children listed for Catherine and Jacob Peters on many sites.
No one has offered information about Jonas and Elizabeth Hacker, who are usually listed as being born in 1751 and 1755 respectively. But Julius Hacker is sometimes listed as Julius (Jonas) Hacker.
