DEATH OF SHERM HACK
SHOCK TO COMMUNITY

Passes Away After an Illness of Only
a Few Hours--Leaves Wife
and Four Children

Andrew Sherman Hack was born
August 25, 1871 at Corley, Iowa,
and died after a few hours illness, on
Feb. 13, 1925 at his home near Dunlap.
He was united in marriage to Miss
Myrtle Adamson on December 18,
1896. To this union were born three
sons and one daughter, namely, Earl,
Dale, Burl and Mrs. Geo. McCord, all
of whom live near Dunlap. His early
married life was spent near Panama
until fourteen years ago, the family
moved near Dunlap where he has
since resided.

He was a kind and loving husband
and father, always thinking first for
his family's welfare. He was a faith-
ful member of the I. O. O. F. and
Woodmen Lodges. Although not a
member of any church, he always
stood up for its morals. He was a
good neighbor and a friend to all.

He leaves to mourn his departure
his grief stricken wife and four child-
ren, four grandchildren, two sisters
and one brother besides a host of
other relatives and friends.

The funeral services were held on
Sunday at the Congregational church,
conducted by the Rev. Benj. R. Van
Dyke, and interment was made in
Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
