Title: Lemuel Gulliver, on the demise of FRANCES BURGESS, Plaintiff and
Appellant, versus JOHN HACK, Respondent.
The Appellants hope for the reversal, with costs, of a Judgment of the
General Court of Virginia of 15 April 1735. Additional Record in the Appeal
(lately between FRANCES BURGESS, widow, Plaintiff and Appellant, and
JOHN HACK, Gentleman, Defendant and Respondent), but which Cause is now
between JESSE BALL and FRANCES his wife, Appellants, and JOHN HACK, Respondent.
02 November 1737.
Report of the hearing of the appeal. The Lords of the Committee remit the
record to the General Court of Pleas, for ascertaining how FRANCES BURGESS
became heir at law to DAVID FOX.
16 October 1738.
Proceeding of the General Court of Virginia, recording the sworn statement
of a jury in answer to the Order of the Lords of the Committee.
