Gene Haberman marries Myra Early 1967
"Miss Myra Early of Johnson City, Texas and Gene Haberman of Lamberton, formerly of Fulda, were united in marriage ion Friday, December 1, at 8 p.m. at the First Methodist church in Johnson City, Texas.Officiating was Rev. Cecil Harvey, pastor of the church.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. G.H. Early of Johnson City and Dean Heimindinger and Mrs. Stella Heimindinger of Lamberton.
Given into marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor length empire gown of satin trimmed with bands of beaded lace.her veil fell from a beaded crown.She carried a white orchid on a lace covered bible.
She chose as her maid of honor, Donna Lindig with Barbara Watson as bridesmaid.They wore blue satin empire gowns, with matching veils.Each carried a bouquet of white mums.
Gary Heimindinger, brother of the groom, was best man.Leo Early and Scott Early ushered.
A reception was held in the church hall following the ceremony.
The bride is a graduate of Johnson City High School and is employed by the Texas Highway Department as a stenographer.
The groom is a graduate of Lamberton High School.He spent four years in the Air Force in Texas, Newfoundland and Laborador.He is presently employed as a Diesel mechanic at Holt Mechanic in Austin.
