Does anyone have information on MARTHA HILL b. abt. 1720 who married JOHN ROGERS b. 1714. John is son of JOSEPH ROGERS and MARY FARGESON per most.
MARTHA HILL b. abt. 1720 and JOHN ROGERS b. abt. 1714 had following children listed by most researchers being born in BERTIE CO. / NORTHAMPTON CO. NC. :
JAMES ROGERS b. abt. 1742 Bertie Co. NC
JOSIAH HILL ROGERS b. abt. 1745
SARAH ROGERS b. abt. 1748
JOHN ROGERS III b. abt. 1750
PRISCILLA ROGERS b. abt. 1752
REBECCA ROGERS b. abt. 1754
PENELOPE ROGERS b. abt 1756
MARY ROGERS b. abt. 1760
I'm interested in anyone connecting to this family as I feel that the JAMES ROGERS might be our line. Our ROGERS family has DNA tested to be a match with the JOHN ROGERS and MARY ATKINS line of JAMESTOWN VA/ SURRY CO VA. We have no idea where our connections may be within this family but we did have a JAMES ROGERS listed born abt. 1746 NC. We cannot find more records on this line of ours to verify which line they are out of in NC and as our DNA MARKERS matched to the JOHN ROGERS and MARY ATKINS line, including those out of JOSEPH ROGERS and wife MARY FARGESON the parents of this JOHN ROGERS who married MARTHA HILL, I thought perhaps a posting on the HILL site might have a few who connected to her as well.
