A Richard Gwynn born in Wales about 1646 who settled in Baltimore Co., Maryland in about 1665 and set up an Indian trading post. He died about 1692. The falls on the Patapsco River are still named for him. I don't know if he was the first Gwynn in the U.S., but surely one of the very first. Notify Administrator about this message?
