Go online to the Virginia Library. The will is probably recorded at Fincastle, Va. courthouse. As the counties changed due to the Rev. War and the Civil war, I was much amazed to find some wills at Fincastle. That is where Gen. Andrew Lewis' will is recorded and it is online and at that time Fincaste was the County Seat of Augusta Co. The Lewis' came from a bit north/east near Staunton and Fishersville. Use Google Earth and go to the Kentucky Website for your land research. At one time the State of Virginia had a county called Kentucky that went to the Ill. line. So much Va. history is on the State of Kentucky (part of the Co. of Kentucky).
