Thank you for your response to my posting. Your question about the Hanback connection is a good one, and the more I dig through my notes, the more confused I become. Please let me get my files better organized and I will get back to you on this. With regards to the Thomas Gwinn that you show as being born in 1807, he is not the same Thomas as my gg grandfather, who was born 1827 in Laurens and died in Georgia. I am inclined to believe that my ggg grandfather may have been William Maddox Gwinn, but this is purely speculative on my part. Any info you might have on William Maddox Gwinn or W.M.B Gwinn would be most appreciated.
