Looking for parents and/or family of Armita Jane, David and James Gwynn.
Armita, nickname Mittie, is my gg grandmother. She has also been referred to as Armedda, Armidda, Arminta, Arminda, Annittie, etc. Arminta's last name, as everyone is well aware, is spelled many different ways too. The family name has been spelled most often as Gwin in the few censuses I have found for Armita and James. Mother and Father are said to be from Mississippi. Armita and her brothers are said to have been born in Texas and they later show up in Arkansas in an 1870 census.
Any leads would be greatly appreciated!
