I offer the following fixes:
Most if not all Chiasson or Giasson families in Quebec descend from Guyon-Denis Chiasson born in 1638, son of Pierre Chiasson and Marie Peroche originally from Saint Sauveur de Nuaille, of the province d'Aulnis, department Charente-Maritime, France.
Guyon-Denis Chiasson marries for the first time about 1664 in Port Royal. His first marriage is to Marie Magdeine Belliveau, daughter of Antoine Belliveau and Marie-Andree Guyon.
In 1667 he marries for the second time to Jeanne Bernard of Port Royal who is the daughter of Andre Bernard and Andree Guion. They have eight children. The oldest girl Francoise Giasson or Chiasson born in 1666, is shown as 33 years old in 1699, marries on November 8 ,1682 at Beau-Bassin to Pierre Boucher-Morin born in 1662 at St Jean de Port Royal. He is the son of Pierre Morin dit Boucher and Marie Martin.
Now back to Guyon-Denis Chiasson. He marries for the third time at age 43(+/-). He marries Marie Magdeleine Martin, daughter of Pierre Martin and Joachine Lafleur. The marriage takes place in Quebec on the 7 th of October 1683. The Martins live in Sillery(which is a suburb of modern day Quebec City). Guyon-Denis Chiasson had come to Quebec to visit his sister Francoise Chiasson who was married to Francois Bonhomme.
The name Guyon was used indifferently, sometimes as a family name(as lineage) or as a first name (dominant character). The name Guyon comes from the 12th & 13th centuries and is masculine and signifies "Guide","chief". The word is used today as a verb "guier" that is "guider","conduire", "commander"
Now, the above text is my translation and the french version belongs to someone else. However, I have used it as a result of my family connections (Langlois dit BoisVerdun). This should provide you with some of the clarification you were looking for.
