Hi Phillip, I'm glad you responded to this new forum. I hope the following helps you.
Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Guynes was the daughter of Henry Hall Guynes and Mary (Finley) Guynes who lived in Copiah County, Mississippi. She was the oldest of a family of 11 children. Elizabeth Ann Guynes married Samuel Barron in 1842 according to the Henry Hall Guynes bible, but no month and day was given. They had 4 children:
Samuel Barron -m- Elizabeth Ann Guynes
(1823- ) (11-10-1823-8-15-1852)
1. Henry Barron b. 1844
2. Mack Barron b. 1845
3. Maria Jane Barron 1846-1934
-married Nelson Sandifer (1847-1936)
4. Mollie Barron 1847-1929
-married Elbert Beasley (1840-1892)
I've never been able to find this family on the 1850 census, but was told they moved to Arkansas and then back to Miss. Maria Jane Barron Sandifer and her husband are buried at Antiock Baptist Church Simpson County, Miss. Mollie and Elbert Beasley are both buried at Bethel Baptist Church in Copiah County, Miss.
Let me know if this is what you wanted.
