Hi,
I am looking for additional information on Charles P. Guy, my great grandfather, in particular information on his parents and siblings. For some reason, this information never got written/passed down to my mother.
Here's what I do know. Charles was born 8 Mar 1894 in Jersey City, NJ. Charles married Elizabeth "Bessie" Leonard around 1914. He worked for "West Shore Railroad" along the Hudson River, and at one point lost a leg to a railroad accident. Charles also lived in West New York (a borough in Hudson County, NJ) and in Union City, New Jersey.
I already know his children, one of which (Helen Marie Guy) is my grandmother. The 1920 census says both of Charles' parents were born in New York, but the 1930 census says they were born in New Jersey. His only surviving daughter (a great aunt) is in her 80s and can't remember who my great great grandparents were.
