I'm searching for a needle in a haystack. My cousin Janina SIEJWA married a GUTKOWSKI/GUTKOWSKY. I do not know his first name. The address I have has the street name spelled wrong. I recently received it from a cousin in Poland. She took the address off of an old letter and sent it to me as 41 Montolioin Avenue, Clifton, NJ. I cannot find a street with that name in Clifton.

I do not know Janina's father's first name, but do know he had two sisters. They were Ludwika SIEJWA-MACKIEWICZ. She lived in Szurpily, Jeleniewo, Suwalki, Poland, and never came to the US. The other sister Kamilia SIEJWA-MARCINKIEWICZ moved to Jersey City, NJ. I place her and her husband there on August 1, 1905 as the result of finding Ludwika's husband Jan MACKIEWICZ on a ship manifest showing he was going there to visit them.

Janina had a sister named Jadwiga SIEJWA-KAMINSKI who lived at 61 Court House Place, Jersey City, 6, NJ. Jadwiga and Mr. KAMINSKI had a son named Edward. I have a photo of him when he was about 9 or 10 years old. I have been told by a cousin from NJ that Edward served in WWII.

If anyone knows of this family, please contact me. Thank you.

Tina Ellis
