Mr. Owen E. Guthrie
SHREVEPORT, LA - Services to honor the life of Mr. Owen E. Guthrie, 84, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 5, 2009, at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Dana Casey officiating. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Owen was born January 16, 1925, in Coshocton, OH and entered into rest Tuesday, September 1, 2009. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mildred Webb Guthrie; parents, Charles and Margaret Guthrie; and three brothers. Left to cherish his memory are his sons, David Guthrie and wife, Lennie, Greg Guthrie and wife, Lori, and Jerry Lee Guthrie and wife, Barbara; daughter, Patricia Anne Mitchum; sister, Ruth Larr and husband, Randall; brothers, Harold Guthrie and wife, Norma, Raymond Guthrie, and John Guthrie and wife, Cathy; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
