I recently was sent an obituary listed in The American Republicam, February 15, 1815, of John Righter 1758 - 1815. It states "Mr. John Righter, at a more advanced stage of life, leaving a widow and a large number of children - from the wedding of one of whom, (a son) he had just returned, when he received the fatal messenger." Listed just above the obituaries were the wedding annoucements, of which was listed - "By Robert Miller, Esq. Mr. Lewis Righter, to Miss Ann Guthrie all of Chester County."
