Am seeking the family connection of the Wm Guthrie family of Blue Springs, Greene Co, Tn in 1860 census with a Cash family.
In 1860 in the home of Wm Guthrie, 48, and wife Clementine, 45, along with their children is listed a Mary Cash, 25 and her two children, James and Alfred.
One of the Guthrie children, William T Guthrie,went on to become a college professor, as shown in the 1880 census.
Is this Mary Cash a daughter of this Wm Guthrie and Clementine? Cash family is my basis of my search.
And what college would have been in the Greene county area for Wm T Guthrie.
Any information would ge greatly appreciated.
