Constance, thank you for your reply. You are so right about his name being Gray instead of Gary. I have since this posting had my eyes checked.lol....When I first saw the name Gray on his tombstone I thought they had really done a fine job of messing up with his stone as his last name is spelled with a "y" instead of the "ie" as the rest of his family has. However, I saw it on his daughter's death certificate spelled G-R-A-Y as well so I changed my notes to Gray. They did have a son but all I had was infant son, didn't know a name. Thanks for supplying that info. You have replied to other postings of mine and always given me great info, thank you for your hard work and love for genealogy. Thank you for the marriage date on the Irene Guthrie. It will give me something to work with, I have seen other entries from that marriage record. Wonder why they don't give the spouse name as well? Doesn't make since to me to give only one name in a marriage record!
