I am trying to trace any information regarding My Guthrie Line form Orkney.
I have the following from the South Ronaldsay 1821 census
John Sinclair married Ann Guthrie.
John came over from Burray and married Ann in Kirkhouse South Ronaldsay. Ann was born circa 1760.
I have almost all of my Sinclair line, but I have nothing for my Guthrie line at all. I have been unable to trace the marriage of John and Ann or the births of any of their children. Ann died somewhere between 1841 and 1851.
Not a lot to go one but you never know.
