If you are interested in preserving the culture of your NMexican Ancester's join the New Mexican
Hispanic Culture Preservation League. I have been a member since 1998 and they have done some
great work. The NM legislature has just passed a memorial offically designating the month of April
as New Mexican Hispanic History Month. This was due to NMHCPL request. They also celebrate
Hispanic Thanksgiving in April. This year it will be held at the Hyatt Regency on April 29. Cost is
$35. per person. This includes dinner, entertainment and Larry Torres will be the speaker for the
evening. I think this year will even be better than last (if that's possible) If any one is interested Email
