Skip the idea that Benjamin and Melinda were married.. it didn't happen. And Benjamin is not the son of Stephen... proof:
Go to http://thomasdna.comcast.net/ and click on results. Note that two of our family have been tested. Here is how we connect:
#30348 (me) --- Benjamin > Ananias > David > George W.
#47040 (Carol Owens) --- Benjamin > David > Ananias
Note how brothers honored brothers in their naming of children. Carol Owens Thomas has DNA with markers within two points of mine. So we a absolutley cousins.
Look futher down the results page. You will see a large grouping representing the Stephen Thomas family. Note that their DNA in no way matches ours. It is a completely different haplogroup.
