Thank you Ginger I truly do apreciate the info. All I had was two brothers William and Jacob Gurley, You filled in a huge gap. My own Spencers were also from Montgomery Co., and Anson Co. North Carolina. (My Gr.Gr.Gr.Grandfather was Elijah Spencer, who burned down the Courthouse in 1843). anyway I knew there were connections to the Gurleys but this just shows me that they too were in Montgomery Co. and so on. I really want to thank you this was a big help. Scott Spencer
