James A. Gurley and Sarah Taylor Gurley had a son named Andrew Jackson Gurley who was born in 1872 in Decatur County and lived there until he died in 1951. There were other Gurleys, who were relatives of James A., living in Henderson County, Tennessee and who moved to Mississippi and Texas before 1850. The Gurley you are looking for might be one of their children. James' brother Willis moved to Mississippi and his uncle Lewis moved to Texas. I don't have the name of Jack or John Albert with a 1875 birthdate for either of them. James had a nephew, Isham, who also lived in Decatur County but he had no son with that birthdate or name.
