In the 1860 Decatur Census, the Gurleys and Volners are living next to each other. I think that the S Volner in the 1860 census is Sarah's sister Susannah. I am connected to the Decatur TN Taylors through Solomon Taylor. Solomon is 18 in the 1850 Decatur census and is listed with his parents William and Susan Taylor and siblings: Rebecca 16, Jane 14, Susan 10 and Martin 9. William is 54 b. TN and Susan is 50 b. NC in 1850 census.

In the 1880 Decatur census Susannah (Taylor) Volner is living next to her sisters Jane and Rebecca Taylor.

Solomon and his family have moved to Obion TN.

Do you have any information on the parents of William and Susan Taylor? Thanks for your help.
