Hi Sarah,
Was doing a school project on my family genealogy and saw your message. There actually is another Sarah Gurganus out there. That's amazing. Anyway, I'm actually from Jacksonville NC. I'm almost 16. From what my dad says there are a ton of Gurganus' in this part of the country.My great grandfather was one of the original settlers here in Onslow County. That's about all I know except that one of my great uncles say our roots are from Lithuania.
