Susan, please email me at gabtail@aol.com, there were 4 Adult men with the name Gubtail/Guptil in Waterbury VT from very early times. The first arriving ca 1798 from Maine and the other 3 followed, also all from Maine, within about a 10 yr period.At least 3 of them had large families. I have done a great deal of research (Primary sources) on the family, as I descendant from one of them.
