My grandfather's name was Charles Gunther. I am also trying to find information on him. He lived in Omaha, NE, and was married (second marriage) to Margaret (First marriage to Elva, my bio-grandmother, deceased). He died in the late 1970s. I do not know at this point if he had siblings, or who his parents were, as my father, Caroll Gunther died in 1983. My family's "oral-history" includes something about my great (or mayber great-great) grandfather that came over with his brother and sister on a boat from Germany, and I believe they were orphaned on the way over?
