I am an antique dealer who purchased a large lot of photographs including a wedding photo of Charles and Lydia Gunther/Guenther. On the back in pencil is written: Mr. J. J. Gunther (Jacob Joseph?) Dear brother just read your card many thanks for same. We will write you soon Chas & Lydia Gunther Stewart, Minn. Let us know if you get photo please. Below in modern ink is: Charles Alphonse Guenther - Lydia Minnie Bethke - Uncle Charles and Aunt Lydia. Though not stated the wedding veil and flowers indicate it is their wedding picture. When I find photos with enough information like this I try to locate family if I can. Any one who wants a low resolution copy by e-mail I would be happy to send it free and if anyone wants to buy the original just let me know. Gary@antiqueanswerman.com Interesting the spelling of the name sometmes includes the "e" and sometimes does not. My research shows Charles father was Ignatius Theodore Guenther.
